Mission: Mjat was designed to be a two-way sector control game over five objectives. In keeping with SOTA's goal of bringing innovative ideas to airsoft events, points were awarded very differently than at most sector control games. Instead of the traditional method of scoring what team controlled what sector at the end of the round, points were awarded by the minute to the controlling team. Additionally, the farther the objective was from a particular team's spawn point, the more value it had. Thus, teams had to strategize whether to fight for the harder to control sectors for many points with a heightened risk of losing them over holding the easier to control sectors for less points. This unique approach to sector control created a dynamic game that didn't favor either side too strongly.
AirsoftAmmoSupply was on hand to sell BBs and provide raffle prizes, including a GBB handgun. A barbeque lunch from SOTA was included in the entrance fee.
